Yeah, right.
“This past June, OklahomaOklahoma!voted to legalize marijuana.”
Oklahoma voted to legalize *medical* marijuana. They are still fighting over the regulations, however. Recreational may be around the corner tho. The sig-limit on the petition to get it on the ballot was met yesterday.
There were more people voting at my precinct this last June than I’ve ever seen before.
>>Recall that Sessions soured on the KKK not due to abhorrence of their violent racism, but over his discovery that many KKK members smoked pot (seriously).
hasher’s delirium to write that
define “soured on the KKK”. Implies he was a fan until he learned many klansmen smoke dope. Apparently these white supremacists don’t score their weed from any brown or black or yellow people.
Far out, Catherwood.
The Dems should be toking up. All the time. 24/7. Give them plenty of Doritos and turn up the Pink Floyd. They’ll sit on the couch and stay out of our way.
‘The Republicans should run on a campaign slogan, God gave you your body and your mind. Why destroy them or Why would you want to destroy them?’
ah, THERE’S the phrase...!
I agree that the Ninth and Tenth Amendments prohibit the federal Controlled Substances Act.
Why was an Amendment required to outlaw alcohol, but every (any) other substance is just fine to prohibit by federal fiat?
The Ninth and Tenth Amendments say, in a nutshell, that the government cant assume new powers, and that any powers that arent already listed in the Constitution belong to the States or to the people, respectively. These two Amendments, part of the Bill of Rights no less than the First and Second, are savagely ignored in Washington. We need to fix that.
Total flail.
