This is why we have legislatures. A lot of people think pot is ok but harder drugs aren’t. Each state can draw its own line. There are no bright lines.

Back in the day when I partook in illicit substances I much preferred hashish over ordinary pot. It’s a much mellower experience in my view.

If it's more "mellow" than why the panic attacks (article mentions ER visits).
Drug-abuse prevention advocates argue the proliferation of extracts has also coincided with a dramatic rise in marijuana-related emergency room visits, often for severe panic attacks.

It would probably happen to me since I’m kind of that way anyway. Going to stay away from it.

In college, I had a friend who's Army father was stationed in Germany.
For some reason, my friend was able to ride on military transport planes to visit his father for Christmas break. He would come back with a big brick of hash hidden in the middle of a giant jar of vaseline. He said there was no customs to go through on the military transport.

All decisions of this nature are very personal. I no longer partake in this stuff but back in the day I consumed box car loads of it. For the record I’m in my early 50’s, an IT professional who makes well over 100k. So no long term I’ll effects on that score.
Have a good day.

Well, that’s about double what I was making in 1999 when had to leave IT and the workforce. Don’t need any more problems now.
Take care.

How about making “pot cigars”?
Use a less “strong” pot so you have to smoke more and roll it the same way a cigar would have to rolled.....

This is like comparing the buzz gotten from beer/wine & whiskey.
It's the same thing!
However, unlike alcohol, one cannot smoke enough pot or hash to kill themselves.

Typically a small ball of hashish is put in a small piece of aluminum foil, which is folded to have it in an envelope. Then two butter knives are heated, the aluminum packet set on one, then the other hot knife pinches the packet, incinerating the hashish. The smoke that comes out is inhaled through a toilet paper tube to keep it from diffusing.
