You won’t able to reason with the libertines here. A lot of them smoke dope and believe in the “sovereign citizen” nonsense floating around the internet. For them, police are the chief evil in the world. It’s just like the people who believe in Lizard People and UFOs. You aren’t going to convince them to see beyond their myopic worldview.
ROFLOL!!
Come on....you are just here jerking around, right?
Typical.
Destroy the whistle blower by any means possible.
The trooper should be in custody, not on admin duty.
>> “Sounds like fiction, right?” <<
.
In Frisco? No Way!
Frisco is as corrupt as they come.
I haven’t seen anyone on this thread argue that police are the chief evil in the world. Care to document that claim?
>> “Or it could be about an officer thinking he was half an hour away from seeing his family ending up spending 4 hours messing with a self important Bit c h who refused a breathalyzer test and then tried to make a federal case out of it, to the point of lying....” <<
.
Dirt like you soil this place just being registered here.
Written vomit. This guy needs to be introduced to the past tense.
Mondo, You’ve lived long enough to k now what all men have on their mind all the time. :o)
Considering the fake law enforcement ready to victimize people late at night, this trooper didnt take her concerns seriously and soon crossed the line.
. . .
That was one of the first things that entered my mind when I started reading this.
Whenever stories come out of women being victimized on the road by fake police officers, we’re told that we should continue driving to a well-lit, populated area before pulling over.
Can’t imagine what else this trooper would have subjected her to had she done that.
>> This is abuse by an LEO and scary stuff.
People fail to understand the primary purpose of law enforcement is to enforce the law, not to defend the innocent.
Unfortunately, from the LEOs perspective, it’s a process of elimination as to who’s NOT a criminal.
Happy to hear opposing views.
???
The letter was well-written and makes perfect sense.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see if the scumbag cop is terminated and the "magistrate" removed. Additionally, although the letter-writer doesn't bring it up, the other trooper who conspired with the scumbag needs to be fired as well.
By the way, I doubt the scumbag was looking for “sexual favors” from a well-dressed 52-year-old mother of three. I think the scumbag is just a bully and, well, a scumbag.
That could go either way. Some scumbags do bully women for sexual favors. Some don’t.
Are you sure you're in the right place?
Wow what a thread. Personally I find such thread enjoyable and amusing but also frightening:
1. As relates to your post I am responding to, isn’t is amazing that there are always people shocked that at a website called FREErepublic, there are those of us who believe in freedom not a police state.
2. How dumb do you have to be to be an NC cop doing these kinds of things after the fiasco in Durham about the Duke lacrosse players. I would imagine cop testimony in NC these day might tend to get defendants off. Don’t these guys or at least their supervisors understand that you build up credibility very very very slowly case by case, but you can undermine the public’s belief in police credibility very quickly.
3. At least in this case no one was badly hurt or killed. Though sadly these clowns will probably get another badge. In fact in several of these cases that have shown up on FR, the perp resigns the current police position making complaints against them moot and takes another police position with a different agencey before they are fired at the first policing job.
4. It is shocking to read suggestions on this thread that it is ok to step on someone’s rights based on what they do for a living. That is much more a Dim view than one usually seen here.
Agreed on all points. And especially point #4. That poster is the antithesis of a FReeper in my opinion. His mindset is troubling to say the least.
He’s been shown to exhibit trollish mannerisms in the past. I believe he may be a JBT of some sort.
WRONG.
If she takes the FST's and then blows a OO she would be subject to a drugged driving charge.
and you are missing the point...she knew she was innocent of any crime and therefore she exercised her rights.
why do you hate America and freedom?
j@ck@ss.
Now you are getting called a jackass.
Refusal carries administrative penalties, not criminal. Have you ever heard about the 5th Amendment?
You really want to live in a police state, don't you?
(BTW, if you think you are older and wiser than me, think again. Over 16 years of my law enforcement experience...says you are a moron.)
No, douchenozzle, maybe you missed the fact that she refused a roadside PBT is not admissible and refusal is not an automatic arrest and detainment...
And you clearly missed the video of her taking the breathalyzer which is admissible and you aren't asked to take one until you have been arrested.
Come clean, you are a 10 year old police officer's kid who logged onto your Daddy's computer without his consent...right?
