Unfortunately, you are very right. Makes me sick. Just need to lick the wounds for a day or two. This was a sucker punch for me because I thought conservatives knew better. I thought most knew to take one for the team, vote Republican, and fight rinos in Spring time, not November, and knew who the real enemy is. Clearly not.
I'm not going to apologize for well deserved wrath. And if you notice, unlike several here attacking me, I used **** and didn't type the actual words. I know what you're saying, and you're right, it's not good or healthy, but at 4 in the morning after no sleep for 48 hours, I needed that venting.
Learn to know when someone couldn't care less what you think and then you don't have to read what someone writes and then they won't have to tell you they could care less what you think. Are you so slow that you haven't noticed I totally ignore you on the threads the past couple months? Slow or blind?

REAL wage increases

Unless the GOP adopts Conservatism as a platform instead of as a costume, it will continue to lose favor, voters and eventually will become irrelevant as a political party.
And you want to know something else, I have no reservations for the way I voted and I'll do it again in a second. I hope the gays start marrying just to piss you off.

I find this point the most salient as to why I too am not 'overly concerned'. The only thing that the election demonstrated is that partisan democrats came out in larger numbers, fielded better candidates (easy now--give me a moment) and convinced a few Greens, Independents and Republicans to "Vote for us...We're not them" .
But, the vast majority of America is not loony Left. We are still a right of center country...and Americans will not tolerate a sudden lurch to the Left.
Also, rumors are floating that GWB was rummaging through a desk in the oval office this morning and found a veto pen! Surprise, surprise.
Moreover, divided government may just give us blessed government gridlock...See, there is always a silver lining.
Don't know about the RNC ads, I just know the McCaskill ads were perverse and sick and repulsive. That amendment was on cloning and had nothing to do with stem cell research other then getting billions of tax payer money to pay for embryonic and fetal stem cell research that garners no cures, no hope, nothing but new ways to grow tumors on hearts and brains, and tissue rejection. After six years and NOTHING to show for all that tax money, I'll be surprised if McCaskill keeps that seat. In six years, NOTHING will have been cured by embryonic and fetal stem cell research. NOTHING. I'm curious to hear how after years of pouring billions into it, there is nothing to show but millions of harvested embryos and fetus', how the Democrats will spin that and explain it whe Michael Fox is still sick. This is a lie that will come to light as time goes on and the Democrats won't be able to use window dressing to hide their lack of fruits.

Yes. You are totally right. What's really sad is, Kelo should have been what made conservatives even more rock solid Republican voters if for no other reason then to make the Supreme Court incapable of that kind of activist decision again. Now that's all gone and thanks to the new Democrat Congress, the most conservative Justice we'll get the next two years is a gutless O'Conner/Kennedy type.
I am at the latter now, but I needed the former. Just sucks. I can't believe Peloosie will be the Speaker. She won't be able to help heself when it comes to being her super liberal self. Maybe after two years of the Democrats not getting a stinking thing done because they have no ideas, no solutions, no real willingness to compromise, like the Republicans always had to to get anything done, the American people will remember why they made the Democrats the minority in 94 and return them there. We'll just have to see. I'm sure though that in 2008 nothing will be the Democrats fault because Bush is still President and it will all be his fault, so of course they need a Democrat President. Then when they get that and the Congress, and we're attacked or the economy tanks, or illegals number 30+ million it will be too late.
