"I understand both fully"
No you don't. If you did you wouldn't have mixed an inclusive tax with an exclusive tax (and you clearly did).

New recruit.
Principled: These guys don't care about truth.83Mojave/Roscoe: What an amazing thing for you to write.
HA!! You're the one that has multiple screen names. What other screen names have you used besides Mojave and Roscoe?

If the paychecks stay at 100% gross wages, then the employee can't save much money with which to reduce costs.
The idea of removal of 22-23% embedded taxes was based on the employees income and payroll taxes being removed from the cost of goods and services. This would mean that the employees would get today's TAKE-HOME pay, not the full paycheck. Only by cutting payroll to take-home level can the 22-23% embedded taxes be removed from prices.
Once you give employees their full paycheck for a 20-25% raise in many cases, then you have at the same time made prices go up by about 20% for domestic goods (30% for foreign goods).
This was FAIRTAX MYTH #1-- the idea that everyone could get a big raise, and that things would cost the same. It has been abandoned by the AFFT.
Work a little harder on your "deductive reasoning" and you'll see you're right back to "apples and oranges" again.
I don't know what you are talking about. Get one of the FairTax guys to bring you up to speed, I'm not convinced you aren't just yanking my chain.
Do you deny that you two screen names, Mojave and Roscoe?

I am quite aware of the clarification you posted. But that clarification does not constitute a rebuttal of the Fair Tax. There are many reasons to be for the FT, not the least of which is the massive simplification of tax law and the reduction of government intrusion into our lives.
There are many facets to the FT and the clarification addresses but one of them. Further, I have never made any specific statement today about 'keeping 100% of you paycheck'.
I will ask yet again: Have you read the Fair Tax book?
Also, if you do not support the Fair Tax then what tax plan do you support?
Does someone who earns 26400 today get tobuy $26400 worth of goods? He get's goods costing $26,400. You are playing games trying to avoid the issue. The FairTax people claim spend up to the poverty level would be untax. THAT ISN'T TRUE.
"I don't know what you are talking about."
Exactly! Thanks for finally admitting the truth.
Mojave/Roscoe: "Here's a proposal. Take your accusation to the mods. If your accusation is true, my account is banned. If your accusation is false, you terminate your account." 251
What other screen names have you used besides Mojave and Roscoe? What makes you think he has two screen names? Y'all have pull this crap before and have been told by the mods to cut it out. So, unless you have some real evidence, cut it out.
I never read a post where the mods said that. Perhaps I missed it. Please post a link to it.
Every legal resident with a valid SSN who chooses to accept the rebate may do so. There is no requirement to be at or below the poverty line. None.

It's would probably be hard to recruit clueless newbies if they had to bring them up to speed on all of the discredited claims they've abandoned.
Wrong again. Prior to the withholding of federal income taxes people still paid federal income taxes, but they had to simply write a check to the gov't. Back then everyone knew EXACTLY how much they paid. The transition (again, literally overnight) from no witholding to witholding was merely a change in the way government collected taxes. The Fair Tax is merely a change in the way the fed collects taxes. It too can be implemented on a specific date. Your 'argument' is silly.
Have you read the Fair Tax book?
What tax plan do you support?
No Soup for You.
If I'm posting under another screen name, my account is banned. If your accusation is false, you terminate your account.
Accept the offer and take your accusation to the mods.
