So I have, as well. Humans strive for perfection, yet are unable to recognize it's failure, the closer to home it hits.
I think it boils down to the way 'it is done'. And that implies both sides.
I find that those who come on the forum 'telling' everyone what they know, are in general noobs. Those who continue in that manner, get to be well known.
Those who come to the forum 'asking questions', find that FR is a powerhouse of information sources, beyond the imagination of most internet surfers.
We have GI's stationed in Iraq.
We have documented/published astronomers/physicists/astrophysicists/etc.
We have veterans of every war rememberable.
We have the ability to question and verify the sources of information we are speaking of.
It's in the Bible. Ask and you shall receive.

You are right. The CREVO threads have the most controversy.
They spark the deepest of emotional biases.
It may help you to know that, despite the seats of their beliefs, neither of the sides is anywhere near close to the 'truth'.
Ah, but some of the "new" folks are not new but bannees who return time and time again. Most are easily recognizable and, until they start repeating the behavior that got them banned in the first place, most of us usually don't even care. Unfortunately, most of those return just to repeat the banned behavior all over again.
I think your listing of the various types of folks on FR is indeed, very interesting, for all of us...I myself do appreciate having so many varied groups of people, as one can ask just about any question, and as you say, receive great information, access to valuable links, personal experiences, and a whole lot more...FR is fun, and informative...
Thats a fine point...bannees returning under a new screenname....your other point is also great....that they may be able to change their screenname, but unable to change their behavior...sooner or later, they will be recognized for who they were originally...no self control, no ability or willingness or desire to change bad behavior...ah well, we see this same thing in real life, we should expect it on FR as well...
Here is the problem. But first, I agree with you in part.
liberals use science as the bases of their religion (we don't need to get into this because this is obvious.)
What i don't agree with is this Echo Talon suggesting all science is bad because liberals use it for their religous beliefs.
we need to face the fact that liberals are giving good honest Science a bad name.
All the more reason that conservatives can't afford to distance themselves from science. The future of the world increasingly hinges on advancements in science, and any political viewpoint that shuns scientific accomplishment will not be a powerhouse in tomorrow's society.

Because slander, spreading rumors and speculation like you did(he probably got in a bar fight) obviously isn't against FR posting policy. The same speculation that is the grounds for your "theory" btw.
