BWAHAHAHAHA!
This coming from the one poster who always brings alcohol into the drug threads. Live by the sword, die by the sword, you hypocrite.
When a drug dealer is taken off the streets it's a job opening to make huge profits. When a murderer is taken off the street there's nobody waiting in line to take his place. Selling and buying drugs is a consensual crime -- both parties chose to participate. When manpower is expended to take a drug dealer off the streets there's a burglar, rapist, murderer or other violent criminal that remains free to roam the streets. Burglar, rape and murder are violent crime. A least one party is forced -- does not consent.
Seventy percent of street violence is prohibition related. Ending prohibition -- that is, removing the huge profit motive -- resolves most of the violent crime problem.
Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP).
I want to ask you guys a question, wether you are against or pro legalisation of the drug, wether you are a user or not... Let's pretend it's legalized tomorrow okay? Which one of you would start snorting or injecting?
I am an ex-pot smoker i admit...but i wouldn't go out there buy a couple of grams !!! Nor would i tell my children that drugs are ok!!! I would tell them the truth! we made it legal to get rid of it!!! If you guys fear your children would start using drugs, blame yourself not the drugs or the drug users!
Sorry if a i am arrogant but i do not understand the argumant of drug use inclining and all if the current monwy against drug was thrown into the drugs and REAL education!! Rebels that use drugs would find back a certain level of confidence in the government as they can now claim they are really a free country, what most rebels seeks, freedom...
But please answer this question who of you on this board would start taking drugs because it's legal???
Recreational responsible use of drugs is not a myth, a lot of highly productive member of our society are casual recreational drug user and you don't even know it...
It will certainly decrease the criminal class by decreasing the rewards of criminality.
Alcohol is a drug ... and a deadly, addictive, violence-inducing one at that ... so it's 100% relevant to drug threads.
For a particular criminal activity. So? The overall criminal class may actually grow as that class moves on to other activities.
Do we have less criminals selling drugs today than in the 1920's (counting alcohol as a drug, a deadly, addictive, violence-inducing one)?
