Well, just trying to follow your example of cozy domestic sweetness.

What you may or may not think of me, is certainly of no importance to me...

I dunno. If she liked me, I'd be worried.

You probably think the king snake's coloration is to deceive you. It's not. It's actually to deceive the coral snake. "Yep, nobody here but us coral snakes..." And then - WHAP! Dinner time :^)

"ID claims since evolution can not explain everything, it must be false and therefore ID must be true."

A sophomoric logical fallacy.

Description of False Dilemma

A False Dilemma is a fallacy in which a person uses the following pattern of "reasoning":

  1. Either claim X is true or claim Y is true (when X and Y could both be false).
  2. Claim Y is false.
  3. Therefore claim X is true.

The funny thing is that in order for ID supporters to even reach the ability to present their "theory" as a basic logical fallacy, they must first categorically discount all available data pointing to the reality of evolution. They do it by simply saying "I don't believe it."

Apparantly you don't "virtually" ignore everything. What do you think of commenting about people you've threatened with running to the mods with complaints, so that they are proscribed from reply unless they want to engage in a distasteful nuisance to authorities? Don't you think that's a wussy way to behave on Fr? Right Wussy Professor?

AH, but he's considerably bigger than the coral snake. Now if something big stands up and says "OK, hot shot do your worst - c'mon", what's he going to do?

You do an injustice to the poor apes - if we were to discover Democrat-style governance and organization amongst colonies of barnacles, it would be hopelessly backward and retrograde even by barnacle standards.

I also prefer dogs to cats, but have had a myriad of cats along with my dogs...my last cat, a big old Himalayan, acted more like a dog tho...he loved to ride in cars(which most cats dont like), he rolled over to have his belly scratched, he came when you called his name, and he seemed to prefer to have me feed him his special kitty treats one a time, like one might do with a dog..we just figured he was a dog, wearing a big fluffy kitty costume...

Sounds like an unusually mellow cat. I've had affectionate cats, but they were very selectively affectionate

My observations are limited, but in high school I kept a speckled kingsnake, much to my mother's horror. Quite handsome creatures (picture), but as far as his interactions with larger animals were concerned, the snake and the family dog seemed rather content to ignore one another....

ID is gaining ground

The top elected GOP officials in FL, OH, and PA don't believe it. If they did, they would not be distancing themselves from it so publicly.
