I've worked with some big tall fat guys who couldn't carry their laundry. I've also worked with some little scrawny asians who could pick me up and carry me up a flight of stairs. Ever watch olympic weightlifting and seen a little bulgarian lift 500 lbs? Would you rather have that guy on your fire department or Michael Moore?

I guess that's why some of my women firefighter friends died in WTC... because they couldn't lift the hoses.

Of course you may be right. There may have been some put in there for the usual PC purposes. And for all we know possibly caused more deaths. I personally never heard of female firefighters dying in the World Trade center. Nor after all the photographs, never ever saw a female firefighter in the buildings. I just can't imagine them climbing those stairs with all the equipment etc. Please, give me a link to that source.
