As I said, I was addressing my post to all. And addressing the tone of exchange. And the lack of ability for people to say, enough is enough, this is something we just disagree on.

I was not saying you called people a fool. And I don't make stuff up.

So who's infringing on your right to determine how and when you die? Isn't this discussion all about what is done when someone's opinion on the matter is not available?

Terri was being murdered.

Have to break this to you.

But this is ongoing every day all across the country, if not the world, in hospitals/homes/hospices, etc..

This is only a MSM case b/c the schindlers made it an issue, b/c they couldn't win one court case.

I couldn't agree more.. The details that the ME is sharing about Terri being blind (then she couldn't have been following that balloon on that video tape, folks) and physical therapy is likely responsible for injuries (Based on what??? No therapists investigated, no reports, oh yeah, Michael Shiavo came up with that theory..) it is clear to me that the ME is covering all the bases-obviously a mouthpiece for Shiavo & accoc., it makes me sick to my stomach...and a little scared too.

Actually no. My speculation is based on the fact that Terri obviously had severe brain atrophy. One of the main causes of this is trauma. The other causes which were given as the cause such as- Bulimia and the idea she had a heart attack have been ruled out in the autopsy. No one gets brain atrophy for no reason. The literature on Shaken baby syndrome shows it does result in atrophy. Also trauma can cause lowering of potassium levels. As I said it is just a speculation but it is based on readings in medical literature. Absent any drugs, heart attack, bulimia- I think some kind of trauma ( not necessarily intentional) was the initial cause of her collapse. Remember also it was Michael who advanced that bulimia was the cause.

You worked in the medical field and you allege that insulin can be purchased "over-the-counter". You no longer work in the medical field, I hope.

I do. And insulin can be purchased over the counter in most states. Why do you think you and some others find this to be odd or unbelievable?

I'm waiting for Furhman's book - hopefully he will shed some light on the subject from a (hopefully) unbiased and objective perspective. And I say that not knowing if he has any particular inclination one way or another on this subject matter.

I see the death cultists have gathered and are licking their chops over these autopsy "results". I don't pay much attention to them, we know the arguments and the autopsy is meaningless without having had an independent party present. Pinellas County is a hotbed of corruption and the prior ME was forced out. What makes people think this ME is any better? Maybe he is....and maybe he isn't.

Oh! I see I used a word that you could twist to suit your agenda.

I learned that from your post accusing me of being pro-choice. See, I can learn new tricks from your professional word twisters.

Well then, that certainly explains how you could have missed the insults and personal attacks hurled at anyone who didn't agree COMPLETELY with your position....for those two weeks. Surely you saw the ones posted at other times.

I would guess they did all those things for the family around her. Much like people are "grave-visitors".....it makes them feel good.

We have a pretty good system.... one that survived all the grandstanding relatively unchanged by it.

Look--I was strictly pointing out that your assertion regarding purchase of insulin and insulin syringes requiring a prescription in the state of Florida is false.

They get cranky when you prove them wrong.

That is what makes sense. Young, healthy female walking around with a semum K of 2.0...no diuretics, no evidence of buhlemia (only conjecture)....not likely with other electrolyte parameters normal. But a large injection of insulin......waiting......followed by an administration of glucose would make sense...just no evidence for it.

I join you in prayer, Ohio.

If it were within my power to MAKE every single cognizent citizen put their wishes in writing, I would certainly do that.

But that won't ever happen. We can't even make people on this thread remain civil to each other.

And so then people will lapse into comas, PVS states, irreversible strokes, etc., and decisions have to be made. And I want them made by the families, not judges.

And decisions to end those lives are not made just because it's inconvenient and only when doctors tell families there is no hope.

"If someone were about to dehydrate you to death, would you cry out in horror, "I want to die"? " Not if my brain was mush. I wouldn't recognize what they were doing. If I had any awareness, yet couldn't eat, walk, communicate YES

"Indeed some knew exactly what she meant. Sometimes people just believe what they want to believe. She was horrified at what happened. " They did not know what she meant. They only knew what they THOUGHT she meant. THEY believed she was horrified. Doesn't mean she was.

"No matter what your opinions, the events surrounding the event stated it loudly. She was horrified and tried to cry out in protest. It is good you brought this up" I didn't bring this up, you did. She cried out, but in protest is questionable.
