I'm not advocating you break your promise which I assume is a monthly (yearly?) pledge. However, I believe there has been a one-sided change in the ground-rules...
please remember to use common courtesy when posting and refrain from posting personal attacks, profanity, vulgarity, threats, racial or religious bigotry, or any other materials offensive or otherwise inappropriate for a conservative family audience.
This rule (guideline?) hasn't been enforced and is most notable for it's breach. Given the change, I don't see why your pledge promise should mean anything...

It's bad enough the pro life movement has lost quite a lot of support over this with regard to the Randall Terry re-emergence and the apparent lack of respect by the protestors outside the Hospice. < p>
Tom DeLay stated on national television that even if Terri had put it in writing that she didn't want to exist on a feeding tube, it should have been left in.
So much for self determination. If the Republican party starts taking away the right of how we wish to end our lives, I will seriously have to reconsider a lot of things about our party.
These people are ghouls. I saw threads about Terri dying on Good Friday, then Easter Sunday. Now they're circling the Pope. Sick.

You mean he didn't want to spend his last minutes with his wife surrounded by people who will go on national television as they have repeatedly and call him a murderer and probably tell lies about those final moments?
No, I don't blame him at all.
When they took to the airwaves during the last several weeks and repeatedly lied about how they didn't even know if Terri really had a heart attack, I realized what they were all about. No one ever said she had a heart attack. She suffered from cardiac arrest.
And there's more, but since they have suffered a loss today I will not continue in this vein.
Michael Schiavo may be a reprehensible human being. But even reprehensible human beings have feelings. He kept his mouth completely shut over the past two weeks, while the Schindlers and the Schindlers' mouthpieces (including Roman Catholic clergy and a House Majority Leader) villified him publicly, day after day.
He's supposed to cut them slack when it's obvious they hate his guts?
