You see I agree with the posters who see this as a horrible miscarriage of justice. But if you don't agree 100%, you are beyond the pale. And I agree with others who think those saying this is the Bush's fault is just nuts. I don't think or expect that the Bushs could have done anything within the law to stop this. I think MS has been demonized beyond truthfulness but at the same time I am convinced he is not a good man, is cruel and should not have been making decisions for her. And the Schindlers have my profound pity but they were used by forces greater than themselves to their detriment. This is a horrible thing but there is no corner for those who won't take a side and fight with others. There is no room for reflection and considering other's opinions.I agree with you 100%. But I have never let anyone intimidate, irritate, or bully me into submission. When it gets tough like this the best thing to do is stay strong, not retreat into a safety zone. I still really think the FReepers on this thread could do some good. And if something degenerates into a flame war, you simply move on to another thread.
My points about this may be fruitless but I felt that i had to say these things.

However, I too have to shake my head at long term FReepers who previously I had agreed with. Strange bedfellows... Agreed. Hopefully, we can all put our differences aside and get back to fighting liberalism. Normally I cannot wait to log into FR in the morning, but lately it makes me a little sad to come here.
It's times like these that I wish we all were located near each other so we could get together and have a drink, or a pizza or at least a Coke. :-)

Ah, you are right but I am so thin-skinned. I really am. And I have trouble blaming the families for this. They were used. I have watched lawyers fan flames and make reconciliations impossible. And I think in their desperation they turned to the wrong people to help. And then the fires started. It is just sad.

It is quite illuminating to see just which side the worst flames, vitriol, and attacks come from. The most juvenile behavior, too. Oh, and the outright lies, misrepresentations, refusal to look at evidence, etc...
