The Mexican government -- particularly Fox --- has had no trouble at all ridding their own country of 25 million Mexicans. It's even their homeland --- their beloved patria --- but they'll load themselves onto unventilated semi trailers --- packed like human sardines just to leave.
Fox is writing stupid comic books showing them how tiny the Rio Grande is --- very misleading, advising them to find coyotes who know the terrain and can get them over easily. He's managed to relocate millions from their villages, getting them to give up their farms and families. Yet it's impossible for us to have them go back home?

The pictures in that little comic book are quite revealing --- never is the river they might have to get across shown to be anything more than a little stream --- the only picture that shows any possible hardship is the one where the guy didn't find himself a coyote --- and the smiling no-worse-for-wear family at the end makes it look just so easy and perfect. Fox left out the parts of people drowning in that river, dying in the semi-trailers the coyotes load them into and having to beg for jobs in parking lots.
Never has a world leader been so hell-bent on ridding his country of it's people. Mayan Indians who have existed for centuries --- thousands of years in their homelands are now finding themselves heading to the USA --- because the present government is making life impossible for them at home.

Do you want to see pictures on your TV screen of millions of illegal immigrants being deported every day. Do you want to see on your TV screens INS raids on gas station, restaurants, malls, etc.... If you think you can take it, 80% of the Americans will not and it will have backlash that you never dream off.
To: L.N. Smithee
I do not want to inform the INS on illegal immigrants, but if you are willing to do so start in your city or town.
To: Once-Ler
but your remedy is a prescription for a life of poverty, disease, and early death. In one of the world's wealthiest countries that has as many or more billionaires as England? That sits on the second highest oil reserves in the western hemisphere? Come on --- you know millions dying in such a wealth country isn't necessary.

I can go downtown today and watch people being deported. It actually happens on a daily basis --- no one bats an eye. I've watched it -- the INS takes them to a gate and they cross over to their own country -- walking over the bridge and there are all kinds of buses, taxis, hotels, and whatever --- once they get over they just blend with all the other people --- their fellow countrymen. Even they aren't crying. No one really pays much attention.

And really going back home on a nice comfortable Grayhound type bus is really nothing when you think of the way they came over --- Americans don't seem too traumatized over corpses being found months later in trainyards locked inside boxcars, or in dead children found in unventilated semi trailers, or people coming through the sewers.
If anything the focus should be on the Mexican government encouraging this kind of thing rather than working to improve their lot in their own country. Absolutely no good reason that all prosperity comes to a screeching halt when you reach the southern border. There is nothing different in the land and resources between a state like Arizona compared with Sonora --- or Texas compared with Chihuahua or Tamaulipas. The difference is the corruption and government.

Let the President make the decision to deport all 15 million of them, then the media put it on TV screens, radio, and newspaper, and then you will see the outcry.

I really doubt most people would care --- if they don't care about the misery the Mexican government is causing them in their own country why would they care?

Thanks for posting this important thread. I congratulate you and the other FROBLs for being generous enough to focus attention on the methods available to assist law enforcement in fighting the illegal alien lawbreakers invading the country, and the obligation that citizens have to assist in this matter.
Here is an another option that may have escaped peoples attention:

Try it. It works.

. . . interrogate them about their status . . .
Insta-Ideologuese-to-English translation: Commit false imprisonment and violate their civil rights, all in the interest of feeling good about others following the laws, of course.
To: spodefly
You STRUQBLs do try harder.

I think a bounty should be placed on Illegal Immigrants and for the companies who employ them, heavy fines and Jail time!!
It's not to big of a project, If we can handle Tsunami's, Invading Iraq, against all of the world's opinion, support nearly every damn nation in the world, Controlling our borders and deporting 15 million aliens is not a big deal!
What is do repugnant about controlling our borders and deporting Illigal aliens. Why do you give the preverbial LIBERAL answer, You CAN"T do it!!
Believe me we CAN DO IT!! We ahve done a lot more!!
I don't need a "PARTY" to defend my country. I am an AMERICAN first before Political Party Doctrine.

I do. Almost all Freepers have a problem with illegal yet few care to do anything about it.
I agree. I guess its easier said than done. I hate the illegal immigration mess but I have never reported anyone. Maybe because we know it is a wasted effort and the INS won't do anything about it anyway.

Applause!! That is a lot the problem. People complain but when someone tries to do something about it, there is a great big resounding NO!! Just like the enviromental whackos stopped the building of the fence along the US/Mexican border. Bush is still trying to get that done.
