You didn't answer the question.
BTW, your initial response to that comment was deleted as well, but not any other posts where the comment is repeated. Actually, #42 and #147 are the ONLY deleted comments on this thread (so far). The moderators obviously weren't "personally" displeased with the remark.
And you still claim ignorance of what he meant? LOL! That's rich.
Skeeter, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and take this as an honestly meant question. The answer, as I see it, depends on the reason why someone would prefer that the perp was illegal vs. an American citizen. But the bottom line still is, what difference does it make? The dude killed at least 11 people. Where he was born, and what citizenship he holds doesn't change that.
While I don't mean to be disrespectful to you, your reasoning is excruciatingly tortured. Either you can't or refuse to comprehend my meaning.
I guess judgeandjury has friends on the moderating staff.
Time to rethink my donations. Isn't there a FReepathon coming up?
Well...whatever the question is, Joe, I have to get going. I'll try to get online later this evening and figure it out for you.
If this is truly the case, then don't you think it would be a good idea to direct epithets at those individuals instead of leaving the general assertion hanging out there like the sword of Damocles for everyone to guess who its intended for?
Or perhaps that wouldn't serve the intended purpose of such smears, at least as far as a few of your friends are concerned?
Who did that?
The fact of the matter is, there were witnesses, and the perp admitted doing this deed. So the issue of his guilt is really not an issue here. Is it?
All I've seen and heard for past two days are people, radio stations etc asking/wondering out loud if this individual was in this country illegally, or not.
Does that make all of these people sheet heads?
Even though his guilt is not an issue here, and never was, if you could post someones quote that condemned this individual because of the ethnicity of his name, I'd like to see it.
And you still claim ignorance of what he meant? LOL! That's rich.
In my post #147 I simply asked Poohbah to explain what he meant by the phrase that he used in his post #42. I didn't call Poohbah any names nor did I say anything derogatory about him. Why the moderators chose to remove ny post #147 is known only to them.
I never claimed ignorance as to the meaning of the phrase that Poohbah used. I just wanted him to go on record by stating in his own words what he meant, which he refused to do.
You know what the question was. See 255
To: judgeandjury
What do you mean by the phrase "sheetheads"?
I mean "sheetheads."

So, I'm still trying to determine what his legal status has to do with the accident?
Would it make it anymore or less tragic?
How the heck did you come up with that?!! By the way, thanks.
What accident are you referring to? Maybe you should update yourself. This was no accident.
Would it make it anymore or less tragic?
Again, this isn't the issue. The issue here is folks were wondering and asking if this individual was in the country illegally, and someone here implied that these folks are "sheetheads".
See post #251 to find out what I said in my post #147.
Don't let it bother you Poohbah.
J&J is just another garden variety thread nanny.
Your original post was NOT to the nanny... red
flag there... trolling for trouble.
First time I've come across that poster.
Hope it's the last.
I still would guess he's from the recent immigrant wave coming from Mexico. Likely an anchor baby born here so his parents can stay and receive welfare.
Yours is actually a worse bigotry --- believing that American hispanics are more criminal than Mexicans. Only Americans can be criminals? How is that not bigorry --- obviously "race" isn't an issue here --- those that are convinced that Mexican citizens can do no wrong and jump to the conclusion only an American hispanic would commit this crime are every bit as bigotted as anyone.
Besides --- he could be one of those "dual-citizens".
The guy's "ethnicitiy" or "race" was never in question --- his immigration status was --- it's still likely he's from the recent immigrant bunch --- and obtained his citizenship the very easy way. Speculating that he just had to be an American citizen hispanic is no less "racist" for those who are quick to bring race into everything. Which many on here are --- they know he's of the "hispanic" race but are quick to jump to the conclusion he's of the old hispanic families that lived in the SW USA for many many generations. That's racism in my mind.
