I'd love to!
I didn't even know the wind was blowing yesterday until I looked out the window...
Ah, Face of Monkey! How are you this fine morning?
He's getting plenty of water, but doesn't want any ice cream yet.
They took his adenoids too. He's been writing things down. Said his tongue feels pretty swollen, so he has an ice pack I got from the hospital on his throat.
I did get him to do some homework, so that's a good sign.
High their!
Snow, huh? I saw some on the mountains as I drove into New Mexico last week. Looked pretty neat. I just don't like being in it.
House all to yourself today?
The sun is shining, and I am online with my favorite people, so it is a VERY good day!
And you? Are you ready to set your sail? It would be nice if you could dry out!
I like to go to the snow, play in it, and leave it there. Being occasionally socked in is okay, just not all the time.
I have pretty much dried out, but there is a rumor that more rain beckons this weekend.
Yes,it is a good sign when they do homework. All I wanted was something wet and cold in my throat, so I imagine his is still a little raw. Give him a hug for me.
This time next week, he will be telling of his operation! ;o]
Yes, today and tomorrow. After that, I will only get a few minutes at a time, so if anyone wants to talk to me (or about me!) they can FReepmail me.
*sigh*
:o[
I did that once on Mt. Charleston, north of Las Vegas. I got too cold though, so I went back to the valley floor to warm up.
I prefer to look at it from a nice, warm distance!
Oh. Ouch.
The news looks positively fearsome. We get some of it here, but the Sierras do a lot to block the worst of it.
Too bad CA hasn't figured out how to save all the run-off...
He's sleeping right now. They gave him some pain killers too. Doc said today will be the worst for pain, so I guess I have a long day ahead.
I'm just glad he wants to be here with me and not with his mom. :^)
Hey, glad to hear your son is doing okay! He'll be better than new in a few days.
Sometimes, moms kinda over-do the "nursing" thing. Just be The Dad, and you'll do fine...the day will go quickly.
And you both will remember it as a good time in your lives.
You get flash flooding in Tucson. I was caught in it a couple times.
Ice cream works too!
I think dad is going to catch 40 winks while he's nappping.
See you on the other side of 6,000!
My mother lives at Incline Village, Lake Tahoe. Her house is a couple of miles from the lake, straight up... at 7,500 feet. You can imagine what her driveway looks like.
i like the one with the hat
