Yep...
This is where I live...
I mean, I DID help redesign the place after Stag tore out a wall on Rexxie...;o]
'Face
I like the Heath Bar and ice cream, but I didn't really like the Heath ice cream bar.
:o|
Mmmm... Heath Bar.... one of my all-time favorites!
Well, that would work okay for 'Face, but you'd need a somewhat bigger facility, what with all your family members.
We'll put you up in one of the guest suites, with all those roomy alcoves, which are rooms in themselves.
Its own kitchen and dining area, and luxurious bathing accommodations. It's right off the main hall of the castle, and you'll have plenty of room.
If that's not suitable, we have some cottages out in the agricultural section, where there is plenty of room to spread out. I'm having one built over near the tree line, on that rising ground at the back of the castle. The spherical elevator cars will connect to it, and I can zip over to the castle at any time.
If you need special accommodations, don't wait until the last minute to put in your request. It takes a couple of weeks to get the customized housing units put together.
Back to you people in a bit...
I have Harpies here and they want to be drowned... er.... go swimming.
TTYL!
It all sounds nice, but I have incoming Harpies.
They need some way to get in and out, something that will accomidate the wing-spread.
Even The Littlest Harpy has a good ten feet on her.
Fix me up?
I have to go drown them now....
Good morning sir,
Might you know offhand the square footage of the castle? (got any cool links to floorplans :)
Doc
P.S. Cats are allowed, right?
"Cats are allowed, right?"
Cats will be allowed, but some consideration will be given to the possibility that we will also have guests with allergies.
We will have accommodations to include cats, on special floors and areas.
Castle information:
I think I had described the castle to someone else as being approximately 1500' by 2000' which includes the courtyard area.
The courtyard walls are from 50 feet through to forty feet at the top, which is about a hundred feet up.
The main part of the castle is a rectangular floor plan, 2000' in length, and about 800' across. A large central hallway bisects the length of the castle, and stairs are at each end and centrally located. The primary castle elevator is circular, and is based in the tower on the right side.
There are four main levels in the castle proper, with a fifth being the rooftop greenhouses and aviary. The courtyard walls are hollow, with two floors for each one in the castle, and a double height dayroom at each courtyard wall corner.
The main tower rises at least three levels above the roof of the main castle, and a narrower tower is at the other end of the main hall.
This cursory glimpse of the facility may give you some rudimentary concept of the scale and dimensions of the rooms and capacity.
Keep in mind there are two defined basement levels also, and numerous excavated tunnels and caverns below the basements proper. Do not go into these unescorted!
Another (#27) 100+ day in a row, here, but the humidity has been 5%- 12% so it's really quite nice.
I haven't wanted to wash my windows because it usually rains just about the time I find that the spot I thought was on the inside was really on the outside...;o]
I usuallly buy Ben & Jerry's but that may be because I don't have anyone to share it with...:o|
*Looking up with plaintive face, yanking on NnB's pantleg...* You forgot to tell him of the vineyards, the brewery, the distillery and the observatory...
Yep...I was logged in allright. I guess it just was down yesterday for awhile...But it's back up now. All is well...
Observatory? I have 3 telescopes- this sounds good...
Good Day!! What a hot one here in lower Michigan...I just went out for the paper and about passed out. It must be 91 today is what I'm hearing. Hot for around here.
Yah...the observatory was a special concession for me...it even has furs for those chilly nights of earth gazing...
And tuliptree76 is our Prime VIXEN...she produced the first batch of wine, all by herself....
Don't worry about your cat...I'm bringing Hobbes along, but to date, she has no clue that she is a feline...so treat her as if she were royalty, OK? ;o]
Glad you are up...
Sadly, all of my Harpies survived the Drowning Experiance.
:-)
Yes it was down all day, and it's very "strange" today. After I had posted it told me it was #33590 of 33588...go figger...
It's 96 here, on it's way to 106, but we don't get your humidity. Which is why I moved here. I love the heat, but it has to be dry...;o]
