I firmly believe that we will see our departed pets again. It's hard to believe that God only gives us their love and companionship for such a short time, never to meet up with them again.

I am sorry for your loss...about six months ago, our oldest Golden,Tasha, a high spirited girl who was the best of retrievers, just shy of her 14th birthday had a tumour in her abdomen rupture and hemmorage...her last days were not much different than your friend...

losing an dear friend like that hurts. You have my deepest sympathy.

That's so funny. I lived in Washington (Longview) for several months. It rained every day save one. That day was a hard freeze. I asked the family I was staying with if they were planning on killing a lamb for the angry rain god......
