Uuuugh. Afternoon.
I actually WAS forced to go to school: I found myself divorced with no work history and no work schooling, so in order to provide for myself, I had to go to school or be stuck at McDonald's. (I hated school when I was a teen and dropped out. It was "boring" as there was no imagination in the classes and no challenges in the subjects.)
I was fortunate in that my interests are varied, which gave me a lot to choose from. The most important things at the time were PC's and office skills. And I didn't go back to school after that until I was already at work; it was because I wanted to upgrade my skills.
And from personal standpoint, I don't think it matters if you are in public school, private school, or home school: If you have a desire to learn, you will learn, in spite of (or maybe because of) your educational opportunities. The key here is not to refuse to learn what may be beneficial a few years from now.
(End of speech.) :)
GRAaaaaa!
UNNNGH!
No... just uuuuuugh.
Oh, ooog.
"I enjoyed school, and would like to take a few more classes when I get some bucks ahead. Im thinking of taking some forensics courses so I can pick apart CSI."
I was offline for a bit...so I'm sorry about the delay in answering. I would LOVE to take more classes, but mostly, they would be for my own edification...I won't be going to work any time soon...
I watch a lot of the forensics programs, being an information junkie...which is also the reason I read so much...;)
I see that being siblings, you have developed your own language. I hope we don't interfere in your conversations...;)
Coffee?
Yeah, having grown up together, we understand
a whole range of grunts, clicks & groans. I don't
think you'll interfere at all.
Uh, I don't drink coffee. I'm refined, I like tea.
Gor'ak Ni'tith?
Stii'iik?
Uh, no. I think I'll just take some butter & salt.
Wow! That's good! I would hate to think we were eaves-dropping! :)
Yes, but only if I can have chocolate on the side...
Chuu'lash.
Chuu'lash.
Gehundheit!
*chuckle*
You should see sis and I talking by AOL IM..
I'm positive that anyone 'eavesdropping' on it electronically is certain we're insane.. or aliens.
Action: Talagh'rak!
