I DO.
hu kare bout speling and gramer?
I've noticed my stories never have a
beginning per say... or a true ending
for that matter. If I'm going to continue
it, I'll have to move it from notepad.
That's where I keep my SHORT stories.
People who wish to communicate and be understood?
It makes you sound just like the liberals.
It also makes you look unintelligent. It
ALSO gives me the impression conversing
with one who can't even spell is an insult
to my OWN intellect.
One advantage of Word is that it automatically saves every once in a while, even if you forget.
My computer has lost power while I was still working on something, and I only lost the last few minutes of work.
Another advantage for me, is that it can hold an entire book.
Asphalt -- my comment about your smelling "nice" was in reference to your chosen screen name. Since we enjoy paving over trolls here, you smell ... "nice."
You've done your job by marking the troll--the trail will still be there in the morning :)
My mom's has a backup unit that keeps
us from losing everything when the power
goes out. If I'm writing something, I at least
have enough time to save it & shut down.
Sounds like maybe your stories are kinda episodic in a dreamlike way.
I was going to suggest a city in the Netherlands. Many towns there should be sufficiently ancient as to be intriguing, it's on the continent, and somehow I thought your protagonist would be mildly amused at living in "the Nether Lands."
I suppose. They just come to me from
where the writing starts, nothing before
it & usually nothing after the writing stops.
It's often frustrating. People expect
more of the story & all I can say
is "that IS the story, that's it".
Unfortunately, I don't know anything
about the Netherlands. Aren't those
the people with little wooden shoes?
:-)
Regarding posts 40883-40884-40885.
Are you and your mom tag-team posting?
Cool. Do you usually work with companies that are starting from scratch, or do you try to improve the systems that are already in place?
I'm back. :-)
Um, wooden shoes, yes, but only in the tourist traps.
Well, she came to "defend" her baby.
I was complaining. For being an "MK"
as it says on their page, they weren't
all that respectful. They had posted
something to me. Whether they meant
to or not, I don't know. I simply tried to
respond stating I knew nothing of CS Lewis
& had only watched "The Lion, The Witch
& The Wardrobe" when I was very young.
I was trying to make polite conversation.
It obviously didn't work, did it?
hmmmm
hmmmm again
did I get it?
