So, the GOP is a party reserved soley God fearing Christians, or for those who rely on a single moral compass taught by only one religion? It's politics, my friend, not the pulpit. While I do agree the two can mix and that much of what is good about this nation is based upon religiously based ethics, they are still separate at core.
Continue this if you must, but I've nothing more to say on the matter other than turn off the TV. It's time for me to further subvert the GOP and America by continuing to work against ALL manner of big government.

So, the GOP is a party reserved soley God fearing Christians, or for those who rely on a single moral compass taught by only one religion? It's politics, my friend, not the pulpit. The GOP is suppose to be the party of conservatives - and you are right it is politics and doesn't represent Conservative very well nowadays. Regardless, this country was founded on Christian principals incorporated into our laws and (God given) rights. This country never forced Christianity on anyone, but if you're here you'd have to respect our Christian derived laws.
While I do agree the two can mix and that much of what is good about this nation is based upon religiously based ethics, they are still separate at core.
They were separate in that the government did not force a religion upon citizens - but did enforce a set of Christian morals. Any religion was welcome here as long as it didn't violate our fundamental beliefs reflected in our rule of law.
The laws yesterday were justified with passages from the bible - that practice was for the most part gone by the 60's when the baseless and relativistic 'case law' came into existence.
Continue this if you must, but I've nothing more to say on the matter other than turn off the TV. It's time for me to further subvert the GOP and America by continuing to work against ALL manner of big government.
You advised me to turn the channel, I didn't ask for this discourse nor do I wish to continue it. I only hope that someday you realize that for a civilization to survive, it must have a common set of principles and a very good one at that. There has been no better structure for a Free Republic than our Christian forefathers laid out - if you want to remove Christian religious standards from our rule of law, you are undoing the very basis of this country.

Yeah, but why do we see girl/girl sex so much these days? It seems to be 'the thing' to show (as opposed to male/male). I know that I just can't seem to look away when I see somebody like Madonna and B. Spears getting all 'close and personal' like they did :-).

Do you really want a nanny state deciding what can/can't be shown on commerical television, disclaimer?
Who called for gov't censorship on this thread?
Idiot.

NOW, I will respond to the correct post.
If no one is at least hinting at censorship, what are they hinting at? Why complain about a perceived problem unless you plan on attempting to do something about it? You going to boycott the advertisers? Watch a different station or show? Cry, scream, kick your heels or - maybe, in your case, turn on the show and get your tongue wagging? Might liven things up for you a bit there, ol CTID! You obviously need it.
