I first learned about how evil George Soros is in Richard Poe's excellent front-page expose in the May 2004 issue of NewMax Magazine. Soros blamed the Jews for anti-Semitism and said they should stop behaving like a tribe.

Of course the article had a lot more background on Soros and I'm doing a poor job paraphrasing it. I bought several of those issues to give to my son's teachers. I bet they threw them out. You can still buy back issues I believe.

In the days following the Democratic Convention in Boston ... several billionaire Democratic activists secretly met at the famed Aspen Institute in Colorado...their clandestine meeting ... the New Yorker magazine reports in its most recent edition.

Details of the meeting remain sketchy... The Aspen meeting was supposed to have been a top secret within Democratic party circles.

When The New Yorker inquired about the meeting, an assistant to one of the attendees was surprised by the call.

"No one was supposed to know about this,” the aide told the magazine. "We don’t want people thinking it’s a cabal or some sort of Masonic plot!”

Apparently the leader of the secret cabal is billionaire Peter B. Lewis; the chairman of the Cleveland, Ohio-based insurance company, the Progressive Corporation.

Like another attendee, George Soros, the wealthy financier, Lewis has poured millions into Democratic 527 groups, including Americans Coming Together and Moveon.org.

Another billionaire who attended was John Sperling, founder of the online University of Phoenix.

Also present were Herb and Marion Sandler from California. The couple founded the Golden West Financial Corporation, a California Bank reportedly worth $17 billion.

We need a law, or to enforce what laws are on the books regarding sedition. If a citizen does not want to live in a democratic republic, he should feel free to leave for parts of the world that are a socialist/communist hive.

If he tries to undermine the Constitution and system of government here, he should have all his wealth confiscated, be stripped of his citizenship, and deported or face life in prison.

Well, not if the MSM has anything to say about it! You need to be more of an optimist! I never believed that Kerry would win in 2004. I think the actual voting public is smarter than the Dems give credit. Kerry was an empty suit that only looked Presidential. That's what Dems always put up......someone who looks the part but doesn't have the substance to do the job. Look at Clinton's whole cabinet....they 'looked' like America. Sadly his cabinet members were all miscast in their roles. We DO need to put up a candidate that can do the difficult job. Let's hope a viable candidate emerges or your pessimism will be warranted.
