Right. And, if the West stopped playing games, negotiating & appeasing the mullahs regime, Iranian people against the regime may even overcome the mullahcracy sooner than later.
I realise the mostly corrupt Saudi Royal family is considered an ally of the US, but most average Saudis don't see themselves as such. Playing the Shia & Sunni card, contrary to some popular belief, will not yield the type of results in Iran some imply or hope for in the West. Sorry, I think Reagan was wrong in his strategy about Iraq-Iran. Today, we know that for sure. Besides, don't forget 9/11 - none of the culprits were Iranians. They were Saudi, Yemeni & Egyptian.
As much as I'd like to see the demise of the Mullahs regime, including their 'reformists' such as Karroubi & Moussavi, playing the Saudis against the Mullahs regime is, IMO, very high risk & dangerous. And, I'm thinking about the US & the West. Most definitely, there are much less bloody & more effective ways of getting rid of the Mullahs in Iran.
No argument. I just like knowing where the target zones are. Plotted them last night.
