your post makes you sound like a defense attorney! There *are* people who sound like defense attorneys in this controversy, but most often they are the ones who
-demand "rules of evidence" be adhered to as if this is a court of law
-seem more interested in *procedural* matters ("yes maybe this is all true but it's not what was Used to go to war") than in the practical question of nat'l security
-proceed from the assumption of innocence (Saddam's innocence)
In short they act as Saddam's defense attorneys. For some reason. (Presumably because Bush is Evil.)

Oh, don't forget the WSJ acrticle implicating Saddam's Iraqi Intellegence connection to OK City bombing in 1995 that mirrored the Suadi bombing later that year. And Terry Nichols association with AQ terrorists in Philippines.
Or will we still sweep those facts under the rug? Heard on the radio the other day that Moussoui's electric bill deposit has yet to be claimed from an OK City suburb. And Atta's.

This briefing was also provided to Rockefeller on the intell committee, yet he still is looking for a way to slaughter the President over the handling of the Iraq War intelligence. Rockefeller isn't even a good liar. He makes a fool out of himself everytime somebody challenges him.

Slowly the case is being built and in about 6-8 months just when the RATs are about to nominate whichever traitor they will nominate the boom will be lowered. The truth about the Saddam/OBL partnership and the location of many forbidden weapons will be revealed. At that point the RATs will be road kill and the RATmedia further exposed, disgraced and discredited.
The Party of Evil needs killing and the sooner, the better.

It would not surprise me if the leaker isn't a committee staffer on the Dem side, who has become immune to the Kool-aid. ROFL!

No quotes, but ya, you can count Jay Rockefeller, Harry Byrd, Tom Daschle, Carl Levin, John Kerry, Dennis DeConcini, Barbara Boxer, Patty Murray, and Hillary Clinton-Innuendo to have made some appropriately foot-in-mouth remarks. Time for a good-old-fashioned political BUTT-KICKING. This is the Democrats Watergate. I.e., This makes MemoGATE all the more heinous in retrospect.

Er, bin Laden was asked to leave Sudan on May 18, 1996 - but when he left for Afghanistan, it was on a C-130 transport with 150 people. The cornell website (as I recall) said it was just before the Khobar bombing. But that was in reference to the embassy bombing research two years later, and I'm not sure how or if a date was confirmed.

I always get a kick out of those who say that...especially since I thought I heard it said that the saying, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" is Arabic in origin.Ditto!
