Probably only the occasional 'Rouge' Republican. The rest are content to just makeup whatever will make the 'Bush-Hitler-Neo-Con Scum' look bad. /s
Exactly true, and liberals and their media are spewing their lies by saying that President Bush lied to get us into the war when a document in March 16 2003 is still taking about SPECIAL AMMUNITION i.e. CHEMICAL WEAPONS. Even if Saddam did not have the stocks of WMD then he certainly made the biggest deception of all times to make everyone believe he had them including his generals who were writing top secret memo on where to move the WMD one day before the war started.
I thought the whole point of posting those documents publicly was so people would translate them and help out. So I'm sure they WANT to have you forward these translations to them. Obviously tell them who you are and what your background is (native Arabic speaker, etc.) so they take your correspondence seriously. Followup with phone calls until you get to talk to a specific Agent. Start by asking for the duty officer... tell them who you are and what you're doing and ask to be assigned to an Agent who is working on this stuff. They will check you and your background out to see if you're legitimate, etc. You should also check out the Agent they assign to you, to make sure it's not a Junior Agent who has no standing... make sure you get a good Agent who (a) takes you seriously, (b) has some standing/power in the agency, (c) can put you on the payroll, and (d) can offer you protection when/if that becomes necessary.
"Too bad we don't have a free press to help with this."
True. But we do have a Republican president who can hold press conferences that get quite a bit of coverage. Where is this guy?
I wonder if this is a transfer approval for ammunition including special ammunition in artillery size, and conventional ammunition in AA size. I'm not aware of chemical weapons in 23mm or 14.5mm.
That's absolutely right. If nothing else, these documents absolutely destroy the "Bush lied" claim ... there was every reason to believe that Saddam had WMD. And when so many had accepted as fact that there were no WMD, the documents now make it a question again.
As always, thanks for what you're doing.
I'll be dammed. March 2003!
Thanks again jveritas!
I hope someone has *pinged* you Snowman !:-)
Which would explain the two different levels of priority.
I will try to do this but for sure I am going to keep translating and working on these documents for free. I owe this great USA everything and no matter what I do I cannot pay back my debt to this greatest nation in history of mankind.
He'd be a fool to hold a press conference based on unconfirmed reports from a political website. With all due respect to JV and JimRob. :-)
The US also uses the term "special weapons."
Chemical artillery rounds being shipped to Baghdad is an unusual thing. There is no way that they would be used there. The range of the tubes is what: 10 to 15 miles at the most?
Why would anyone disperse chemical agent in that proximity to a major metropolitan area?
--- How do we get ANYBODY to notice this??
This is a HUGE smoking gun!
The Media will spend DAYS covering unprovable, unverifiable memos, but we can't get them to say ANYTHING about the FACTS coming out?? ---
By now it's obvious, most of the media are an arm of the DNC and will bury these stories. The people to contact would be the "good" media, such as Steve Hayes at the Weekly Standard, or your congresspersons (if they have brains).
I think that's your best find in this translation so far Jveritas! Thank you!
If only half of the born-Americans were as Patriotic as you are. You're an inspiration. Thank you for all you are doing.
Just playing devil's advocate, I think I remembered reading that Iraqi generals, even when the war was afoot, kept waiting for and expecting chemical weapons were going to be deployed to them.
"I know I heard an interview with an Iraqi soldier of some rank involved in the defense of Baghdad who said that his unit didn't have chemical weapons, but that he was told the unit next to him did.
It's possible that to get his soldiers to stand in place, Saddam was issuing orders about non-existent weapons to convince his troops and their commanders that the WMD were on the way and would give them the ability to fight the Americans."
I thought about this as well. The problem is that this memo doesn't fit that scenario. The time line as I understand it is that the generals were told before this document that they had no WMD. "By December, Saddam was informing senior generals in secret meetings that Iraq truly had no chemical or biological arms, U.S. investigators later learned. Baghdad's troops would have to fight without them." http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2005-09-02-WMD-indepth_x.htm
Also, I can think of a lot of better ways to create a false impression than this. First off, it is a Top Secret memo from to move weapons from one depot to another. If I wanted to create a false impression for my troops, I think something like "deploy the WMD to the forces" would make a lot more sense.
