I'm just taking a guess, that the rabbi was the only military chaplain available that day. Sounds like he did a mitzvah (good deed) in acknowledging Jim's baptism.

Military Chaplain is my favorite hypothesis.
I met Jim decades ago and he was 100% Christian and so I’m sure that’s where he finished his race.
I was just curious about how the word “rabbi” got in there.

I will dearly miss Jim, as I attended March for Freedom, The Managers dinner and many more that Jim attended and spoke with him many times. Am 83 have been a member since 97 he created the most important forum on the net. RIP Jim.

College taught me how to elaborate.... into 10 page papers..... and do research in the the library, and write a 10 page paper..... The Army taught me how turn a 10 page paper into 2 or 3 sentences, After Action Review’s .... AAR’s...... TXBlai
