It has been reported that the trip was at taxpayers’ expense. Whether that’s true or not, IDK. You know ... media sometimes lies. ;-)
She was a member of Congress which is a do nothing job where the consequences of your actions are not readily seen.
Now that she’s mayor of a major city, gutting the fire department budget and investing in DEI has real consequences and she can’t comprehend all that.
Natural disasters happen and there is nothing anyone can do about that, but Mayors and Governors can be prepared to effectively deal with the consequences afterwards.
Gutting the Fire Department Budget, running off to a foreign country are not the way to prepare for disasters.
Florida has hurricanes, nothing will change that, but not having utility trucks on standby is reckless and always comes back to bite people in the ass.
