Well they wanted them to last longer...
Are you telling me there is no Truck race tonight???????”???
No trucks tonight. They race again at Martinsville.
There is no truck race tonight.
Saw it in GR’s opening, trucks went camping.
It’s Friday night and no trucks, just what are we supposed to do???????
With that, at least we can generate electricity!
Yep, and less radiation than a 40 YO nuke plant.
Heard a report earlier that wind power has killed more people than nuclear power lately. Something like 37 to 0, but I don’t know the time frame.
My long time FRiend Rush Limbaugh told me that the number was 44 wind power deaths and 44,000 died in auto accidents...
I had Edwards on the bench because I thought he could get pole, but I think Ky Bu has a better chance at the win. I got 1 point for Menard qualifying and don’t know why.
I had Karl on the bench and got 10 points for him and I had Menard on the bench and got 4 points for him...
Watch the cheerleaders on the NCAA BB games. Most games stink, but there they are at the end lines. At our Legion, we rate the cheerleader squads. VCU, going on now, is moving ahead of all of them.
Not really into college hoops although that may be a thought to watch the cheerleaders. LOL
That’s not the one I heard but it definitely shows nuclear a lot safer.
Don’t forget that tomorrow is the 12 hours of Sebring spors car race. It has always been a favorite of mine. I have attended probably 20 times in person. When I lived in Florida and when I had my Porsche Turbo I would drive down very early and the roads were backroads with little traffic. I hit miles and miles at 150mph because I knew there were no crossroads and I could slow if there was oncoming traffic. Once I was parked in the Porsche Padock just out of the last turn into the fron stretch and right against the fence watching the race into the last hours at night. The back straight was 200+ mph into a tight turn into the fast front stretch. A Porsche 962 came out too fast, hit the wall and flipped over, tumbling over the wall unil about 3 feet from hitting my car with me in it!
Thanks for the thread, G.R. Bit late to the party but the dance hasn’t started yet; crazy schedule - don’t know whether I’m coming or going lately.
We had roads like that at one time. Still have long stretches, but the road surface does not lend itself to those speeds, nor do I have a car that will do that anymore.
Rusty is on SPEED... again
Arg. Must be time to go to Walmart. Gotta go get dressed up. BBL.
170 of 300 in the BuschNationwide race.
