Yummy!
I’m cooking a “country style” rib. It’s about 4” X 4” X 6”....mesquite sauce...I’m drooling on the keyboard....
*hopes she has a keyboard cover for the keyboard’s sake*
Nah. If it gets too bad, I have an extra keyboard...;o]
For what they cost these days, I guess that’s just as easy.
Why not?
So how is Goldilocks getting along with the resident critters?
Okeydokey....
Goin’ to bed, now.
It’s been a strange day for me. For some reason.... :o|
When I went out to water, I found a second canteloupe sprout. Tiny little things ... maybe tomorrow there will be three! I planted 30 seeds :-).
Bill made tuna casserole for supper, and I made potato and squash pancakes. Very good with ketchup!
She’s still rather timid when they are around. We are keeping her in a large cage in Cara’s bedroom, with her pet carrier inside as a bed/refuge. Last night she was whining because we locked her in the cage (of course, Cara sleeps right through it), so we let Sugar in the room (Rottie #3), and she ran into her carrier and went fast asleep.
I think that won’t last too long as a viable remedy, but on the good side of things, no one’s home during the day to hear her whine when she’s locked up. Hopefully after a week or so she’ll be whined out.
Well....Good Night then!
Well they are gooseberries not Geeseberries.
Thanks, Monkey Face.
I hope your Mother’s Day was good.
Church, luncheon, then nap...... our girls are far away and I missed them. The elder is married; the younger will be graduating High School next month. South Carolina, here I come!
Good morning! It’s cold here - 40’s. But the sun is out. I just saw a bird nibbling in my canteloupe plot! This does not make me happy!
Dang! We’ve got 61 and wind out of the north at 14. *shiver*
I’ll never get warm at this rate.
It’s gratifying when your seeds actually sprout! You know then that you can look forward to something yummy from the garden in a few weeks.
She’s lonely. She’s probably used to other pets her size/age, and is trying to adjust.
Once she’s been accepted by the other dogs, she’ll be OK.
I spent most of Mother’s Day in bed, just resting. I couldn’t seem to focus on anything, so it seemed bed was the best place for me!
My daughter had taken me to breakfast on Saturday, so that was really good. And I got calls from the folks who mattered the most, so it was a good weekend.
It’s hard to be away from your kids. *HUG*
That bird has a lot of gall. How dare it breakfast on your hard work!!
She’s accepted by the other dogs...they are just miffed that she won’t have anything to do with them.
BTW, the Sugar in the room thing didn’t work last night....she figured that trick out.
LOL!
I’m sure she’ll adjust, given a little more time. She may not be quite sure what those big things are.
They’ll be best buds before too long, I’m sure. The only thing we have to be careful of is that she doesn’t get Candy going too much. Candy is starting to show her age, and where the spirit is willing, her body is not. Poor thing wants to play, but after a few minutes, she can really hurt herself. We’ve had to put her in the pen when other dogs come to visit...she can’t help herself.
Awww...
Maybe Goldi will be a good friend to Candy.
