Of course, now I’m REALLY tired, and will have to make up for lost time in the Rest Department so I can get to church tomorrow and honor my Mother.

Looks like a long day before the computer -- not hurt by the rain that should arrive in a half-hour (and Sandy should be seeing it shortly too).
But I don't like one of our gubernatorial candidate's policies, so I'm tasked with describing its problems and hopefully offer an acceptable alternative via a staffer he designated to work with LoM and me. (It helped that remembered our work with the legislature when he was a state senator). This is way too much like my day job!

Ah, rain. Good, my flowers need water.
Off to Hoquiam today to take the MIL to lunch...

YOIKS!!
I have no clue what it will do today, besides the wind and high, thin clouds. *sigh* (I hate the wind.)

I have a few things to do, first, and then maybe I will. Right now, I’m trying to let the breeze cool off my apartment, but it’s getting close to 80 out, and that’s when I shut the windows and doors. It stays fairly cool in here until around 4:00.
By then I’ll be ready for bed, for sure!

To: Monkey Face
LOL, "getting close to 80" would NOT be cooling here.
It's 50F outside so the furnace is keeping us at 64F.

LOL!
I’d like about an hour of 64, then I could keep the place under 75 for the rest of the day!

But I thought you liked it warm.
The rain passed over, but didn't even amount to a sprinkle. Oh well...

I DO like it warm! But I have critters to consider. I don’t like them to suffer, since they can’t take off their fur coats!

See, this way, I can go outside in the nice warm sunshine, and they can stay in where it’s nice and cool. In comparison.
They are hateful when they get hot!

I do, too, but my daughter just called to tell me she is taking me to breakfast for Mother’s Day, so we don’t have to fight the crowds tomorrow. :o])
