I know...but I’m woefully uninformed. How does one pronounce “Cthulhu?”

Can you earn a Girl Scout badge for sorting Girl Scout badges?

No, I don’t think so. There are lots of patches available for adult volunteers, but you have to put them somewhere, so I don’t bother to get them.

I’ve got 57. I’m going out to put dirt in my canteloupe patch and water my sunflowers.

I suspect the wind chill is about 40 or less. And I have to go out in this stuff...*shudder*

One of the guys here planted sunflowers last year, and by this time, they were already about a foot high. Not this year. Too cold and windy.
Cantaloupe is my favorite melon, fresh from the vine, still warm from the sun. Mmmmmmmm!

I say we crank this one up to the max limit. We could try but I don't know if FR's programming will support it. The mods didn't like the way things slowed down when we went past 10k or so posts...

One of the Spanish choir ladies who was over last night said they had canteloupes in the yard last year. She’d put the canteloupe waste in the compost pile, and then used the compost in the flower beds, and canteloupes grew!
I put a bag of topsoil in my melon spot, and put some boards on the downhill-side edges, so all the dirt doesn’t wash away when it rains. Hope to get the things planted on Saturday!
I’ve loaded up the trunk of the Purple Thing with yard sale donations for one of the Girl Scout moms. AND I tried on a pair of Anoreth’s jeans that she said were too big - and they fit me. Size 6!

Kewl about the smaller pants! WOO-HOO!
I’ve seen that cantaloupe-in-the-compost work with potato peels. For some reason, not all the scraps went into the pig trough, and we had potatoes growing by the back door, as well as out in the garden!
