What step was the problem?
I used to have a red beard too.
NOW it’s “Good night, ‘Face!” LOL!!
I think I’ll be here tomorrow, but I may give up on much more than lurking. Depends on how things go tonight.
The fever is up, and that’s not a good thing.
Take care of yourself.
I’m not really sure, since I had trouble focusing. I’ll try it again in the morning, when I’ve rested, and let you know.
In the meantime, thanks!
Enjoy your cookout!
:o])
Thanks, and sleep well.
I guess it’s time to pay the piper...
Hard to make a living at it -- although my teacher knew a fellow who did.
Sleep tight...Don’t let the __________(fill in the blank) bite!
Good. I was not so blessed with any kind of musical talent. Even at school and church, when we all had to be in the chorus, my efforts were, as you put it, just short of embarrassing.
When mine grows out, it has an almost-red tint/sheen to it.
So does mine, it’s a real dark brownish-red though. I would not wear my hair as long as I do if it were purely red; it would look too feminine.
While I was cooking my steak on a gas grill I realized that I was wrong when I said I was going to BBQ tonight. I believe I am grilling my steak which I can put barbecue sauce. I hope this error has not caused any confusion. I am also a very impatient cook and needed to something other than stand and wait for it to cook. I must go now.
Somewhere in grade school I was given a recorder ("fipple flute") and taught to play it. A little. Later took up baritone horn, then tuba, through high school. By then I could read music (still don't know "music theory" though).
Skip forward a decade and a half to starting bagpipe. By good fortune found a superb teacher who taught "expression" -- a very difficult thing on an instrument where you can't bend notes, change volume or do anything at all but vary the length of each note.
I won a lot of competitions based on "expression", and often enough over Canadians who were technically superior but extremely and even mechanistically rigid on timing (the sole weakness of the Canadian School -- an irony, because in Nova Scotia they still have Gaelic pipers of the old school, who revile the use of rigid timing in the old tunes).
There's but only a faint hint of red in my moustache left and it is fading fast; probably won't last the year. My joy is that I went straight to white -- red beards going grey too often look like they belong to tobacco-chewers.
Good Night from the left coast!
BTW...aren’t you lefter on the coast than I?
Good morning from the beach, FRiends! My mom has taken the little girls for a walk up the sand, and, when they come back, she’ll make French toast for breakfast. Her friend from the airline who lives here is taking them out to dinner tonight, and we will have takeout pizza.
The little boys haven’t wanted to go in the water, but I’ll be able to go swimming by this afternoon, so maybe they’ll change their minds. They’ve been having fun digging.
Good Morning!
I was over near the beach yesterday....a little too chilly for even walking on the sand.
I’m looking at the Ice Cream Box...
