Sacked with real sacks, and then loaded into inventory by the loaderbots.
Right about now, they should be under the third layer of dry goods pallets in the warehouse.

You’re up early.

We had a good rain yesterday, and more to follow today. It’s 54 degrees. VERY overcast. No wind, though. Yet.

Here's how it works. When you download it, you download a binary executable file called REST2514.EXE. Click on that in Windows Explorer to start the utility.

I remember doing some research on this and wound up reasonably assured it wasn't spyware.

This is about when I'm usually up, or at least my target. Easier in summer than winter...

Forecast here is cool and a little rain. May keep some of the "fair-weather folkies" away from the Northwest Folklife Festival this weekend.

This is a good day to curl up with a good book.

More to come in the next 48 hours.

I tried everything to no avail. I’ve forgotten how to get into the working parts in order to retrieve a file (if it were DOS, I might have a chance.)

For now, I’m just going to start typing the document over again. It’s all I can do. *sigh*

See ya tomorrow...

Hi from the beach, everybody! It’s almost bedtime here. Got here at 4:00 p.m. and had to get beds made, towels out, clothes unpacked, etc. Some kids got to dig in the dirt, and Elen claims she “fell” in the ocean, which is impossible, but oh well.

We have an option to go to church at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, but I don’t think we could get there without serious violence to some of the lazier Offspring. 9:00 is more reasonable.

My parents will arrive Monday (flying) and stay until Wednesday. Father-in-law and stepmother will come Wednesday and stay until Saturday. Mother-in-law lives here, and will come by tomorrow afternoon.

'Face, not sure of the difficulty here.

If you run REST2514.exe, it expects to "install" someplace. The default should be "the location of REST2514.exe"/REST2514. In that directory should be a file called "Restoration.exe".

Execute that (double-click on it) and on the right you'll see a box labeled "All or part of the file". Give it as much of the filename as you recall, select the proper drive, and click on "Search Deleted Files." It should find it.

"fell" in the ocean - LOL! I remember the beaches at Myrtle Beach...

Here's a bit of my day. We started with a long session on Indian classical dance (with music), apparently starting traditionally with a very young dancer and working up more and more sophisticated material, including one that can't be performed in India (yet, and we had to leave before explanation so I don't know why). In the last picture or two you might notice that one dancer is (American) male:

Most other indoor sessions I couldn't shoot because the light level was too low for the camera. One marginal exception was a native (Pacific Northwest) American Indian performance:

Outside it was a warm (hot to us locals!) sunny day, blue skies that were NOT in the forecast. Here's one of the beer gardens, and an elevated shot that hints at the massive crowds we get at Folklife when the weather is like this -- that's wall-to-wall people out there:

Photobucket Photobucket

We may be surrounded by (mostly) flaming libs and worse, but there are a few of us conservatives flying mostly low beneath the wire (and some making money hand-over-fist selling at this event).
