Oooh, that looks wonderful! It looks like it has 67 Points. I think I’ll have one for my birthday!

My parents are doing okay. Mom went up to DC earlier in the week to see one of her friends from the airline, and Dad had the “elderly aide” in for the evening, did just fine. They’ll be here on Sunday for Sally’s First Communion, and then drive to my cousin’s in Pinehurst, a couple hours east. My aunt, Mom’s sister, will be visiting; they haven’t seen each other in a couple of years.
We have lots of interesting museums, including science and nature. It doesn’t have to be low-cost, because we have $28 per girl to spend! We happened to hit the skating rink on “Homeschool Day,” so it cost $4.50 instead of $10.

Glad to hear about your folks. They’ve been on my mind.
Twenty-eight dollars per girl? For the year? The month? If it’s the month, you can always take them on a tour of a dairy, or a print shop, or the business end of a grocery store, or even a place like Lowe’s or Home Depot. Even SubWay would be good, because they would get samples!
I loved tours when I was a kid. We had way too much fun learning how things worked!
The Brownies are at the ages where curiosity reigns supreme!

Happy birthday, El Face-O!
It’s times like this that I almost regret ratting you out for stealing Dad’s turnip truck to go on that infamous joyride. Almost. ;)
