In a few minutes, I’ll go to the post orifice to see if I have any birthday cods.

I survived the Brownies’ skating party. Didn’t fall down once! Now I need to total up the cost and see what else they can afford to do this summer.

Maybe closer to the lake, the skeeters are out, but it’s too dry here. And the media has done a good job on scaring folks about West Nile virus, so there is seldom any standing water anywhere.
I like it!
What kind of museums are in your area? Here, we have a kid’s interactive science museum that is pretty darn awesome! We also have a small zoo, and a kid-friendly nature park. The latter is less than a year old, so it’s a really cool place to visit.
Maybe the library has low-cost suggestions for the Brownies?
(How are your folks doing?)
