How are the bugle lessons?

I need to find someone local. Actually, the guy that runs Bugles Across America has a group in Garden Grove. I may be able to get help there.

Your prayers requested... LoM just learned a few minutes ago of the passing of an old family (hers) friend, on the East Coast, and the funeral is Thursday. She's trying to book her flights right now.

It is sad. Said family friend was a sweet lady and will be missed, as her husband has long been missed... but she was also ready for Heaven. On The Day, she'll be there.

Good morning! 50 and cloudy. Supposed to rain again tomorrow and Friday. In spite of all the rain we’ve had, the TV station says we still need 10” to be out of drought conditions!

56 when I got up 30 minutes ago, with more wind in the forecast.

Warming up here again. Supposed to be back in the high 90s by the weekend.

Would you believe I’m wearing flannel? It’s still only 60 degrees, and I want some HEAT!

Upper 60’s here, and clouding up. Another nice morning at the park; we succeeded in meeting the people we’d planned to meet yesterday, and also ran into someone from church that I hadn’t seen in a while.

We’re at 74 and cloudy, and no sign of wind, so far. *knock on wood*

I’m going to just lurk for a while, and maybe curl up in my chair. I’m feeling pretty tired. (Status quo.)

That would be fun! I need to get byos to bed and then go run.

Anoreth is going back to the park to get James’s coat, which he shouldn’t have needed in mid-May. She’ll also go to the education supply store and check the used book racks. We don’t go there very often because they don’t open until 11:00 a.m., and by then we’re usually home from whatever we did during the morning.

I don’t know about fun, but it’s what I have to do for now. My bad. I’ve just been trying to do way too much, I think.

Lounging in a chair with catz isn’t the worst thing a person can do. I have two very busy days, and then on Friday I plan to loaf.

I want to rest up so I can go to the track for a while Friday night. My friend wants to take his mother, but doesn’t want her alone while he’s racing.

She’s leaving Saturday, so I want to spend a little more time with her.

60s and occasional drizzle here. Just back from the airport; 74 hours until LoM’s return home.
