Hey, ya see the Personal Keywords is going Nascar again. :-]

In the Formula One Grand Prix of Australia last night on Speed Channel, the only American on the circuit Scott Speed didn't finish the race.

At least F1 didn't give a full course yellow after Coulthard's car went flying over Wurz's car. If it were NASCAR there would have been a yellow, possibly a red flag. This is the one thing I do not like about NASCAR.
Ferrari driven by Kimi Raikkonen (came from another team)wins the race. Kimi took over Michael Schumacher, who retired.
Ferrari's Massa came from dead last (23rd position) to sixth. Not bad.

Here are some pics from my trip to the Busch race yesterday. My friend and I had passes for the ABF hospitality tent in the infield prior to the race, They sponsor Dave Blaney's Busch ride. We met him, as well as Bill and Chase Elliot. They are both involved with ABF, and they came in for questions and autographs. Our seats were in the Champions grandstand. That Sorenson/Leffler crash was right in front of us. I doubt TV did it justice .... it was a loud and firey crash ..... glad they were OK.
Here's a couple of cool infield busses. The 'Hillbilly Hotel' was well done.
We had trouble finding the Hospitality tent, so my buddy Carlos stopped to ask directions from these two guys. They weren't much help.
Here's Blaney during our Q & A session.
Awesome Bill signing my ABF hat ......
Here's pit road during Busch qualifying .......
Ward being interviewed .......
My boy, Bobby about to roll off for his qualifying run .... Too bad he detonated his motor in the race.
The Hollywood Hotel and cutaway cars ........
Here's the coolest jacket at the track, hands down .......
The Leffler/Sorenson aftermath .......
And, no trip to the track would be complete without the roasted turkey leg!!! My buddy has to have one every time! Damn things sure are good ......
My buddy Carlos sez, 'Here's lookin' at ya!'

Thanks for the great photos and DITTOS on the smoked turkey legs. There is a church group that sells them at July 4th celebration here in Eureka. They precook them and finish them off on the street...

How things change!!!
One week ago on this day I was watching NASCAR at a
Florida Redneck Bar in between watching the Pirates
, Yankees, Indians, Phillies, Reds baseball games.
Yesterday I had to dig my car out of a foot of snow to get to DC to support the troops.
Today I have beer in the car, 110 feet up my driveway.
I'm wondering if I can call AAA to help me get the beer down the driveway? (YUP, emergency here.)

AGP needs your help getting the frozen beer out the snow bank...
