One article I read said she was shopping for revealing clothes.
Do they make peek-a-boo knee pads?

FYI..interesting article in yesterday's ( Monday's ) NY POST..."Race & Idol"..the week after Paris was voted off, "AI" dropped from #1 to #6 on the top-10 list of most popular shows in black households, according to Nielsen..

So, did it read like AI was racist, or the voters, or the viewers that stopped watching after Paris left?

One article I read said she was shopping for revealing clothes. Gosh. Imagine that. Kat of all people.

I think it's on their website..basic theory is that it isn't racist..Neilsen shows that when a white contestant is voted off, earlier, like when their are three blacks Idols still in the running, then white audience drops off. Theory is that people are more interested in their "own kind"..Their words, not mine..
FYI..NY POST poll has Taylor winning 70%-30%

There's a rumor that Dunkelman will host "American Idol Rewind" the syndicated 9/06 show that will provide behind the scenes and unshown footage from Season 1 (with later shows showing later AI seasons).

How about a Taylor Hicks bobblehead doll? Complete with silver tinsel hair! Whenever you pick up the doll and shake it, the microchipped miniature Tay-Tay shouts out, "SOUL PATROL! SOUL PATROL!"
Heh, heh .... :)

Found it!
From 'Idol' to Empire: The Success of Ryan Seacrest
Each day at 4 a.m. Ryan Seacrest, the tireless host of "American Idol," is wide awake staring at a schedule that frightens even him at times. "There are certainly days when I'm brushing my teeth and thinking, 'How are you going to have the energy to do all of this today?' " he said in his sparsely decorated dressing room, a half-hour before he was due to direct traffic on "Idol." "But it's like running. The first few minutes are difficult, and then you find a rhythm."

It may not be on their webpage..I assumed it would be..sorry..I was looking at the paper..BTW..retrokitten posted a link to the NY TIMES article in 6774..
BTW..under the "where are they now?" department..there's also a small item in the NY POST yesterday that reports that Delano Cagnolatti..a semi-finalist in the first season..( I never watched it then..anyone know who he is?) has been locked up since Feb 1, (obviously he can't make bail) charged with ripping off a string of S Cal banks in an elaborate check-writing scam..He was booted off the show when producers found out he was the 29, and not 23, as he had claimed. The age limit then was 16-24. He faces a mental competency hearing..

Some folks doing some testing on the left coast seem to think only 3 lines for each contestant tonight. Taylor will be 2/4/6 with the text votes going to 5702.

If she were a real patriot she would send some copies to Gitmo. I'm sure after having to listen to that crap they'd be singing like canaries. We'd find Bin Laden in about 3 seconds.
ROFL. Great Idea. I nominate you as the inquisitor in chief.
