In the "will they ever go away" department, Ace makes an appearance on MTV Total Request Live with host Susie Castillo.

The top is not flattering in anyway. Even the color is bad for her.

She was lucky #13. Mellisa McGee beat her for the top 12.
IMO, she got booted because of song choice. She sang "Unwritten". I have no idea why that song is popular. It's a total snooze.

In the "will they ever make a comeback" department, Justin (seen here in a shot from the awful "From Justin To Kelly" flick), has been hanging out in the AI audience a lot this season. Although Justin's curly mop is a thing of the past, the director still never puts his name on screen when the camera finds him.

He's moved into jazz now. His voice just seemed a bit flat from what I recall.

Why does Fantasia remind me of Judy Garland in that picture? Maybe it's the short hair.

Why does Fantasia remind me of Judy Garland in that picture?I do not in any way pretend to understand the depths of your mind, Palladin. Like Judy Garland?! How do you do on Rorschach tests? ;-)

Droopy eyes, far away expression, laugh looks just a little over the top and slightly beyond her control...yep all traits of Judy's.
Completely off topic, Judy Garland was supposed to have Susan Hayward's roll in Valley of the Dolls, but she was too far gone and was fired.

Any idea what's the yard stick on a successful jazz album? No, but good albums always make it onto the charts and find an audience at least in the tens of thousands. Norah Jones, who is probably the most well-known jazz artist around these days, has had some really big hits.
