"No "X" on the forehead, please"I guess "What If" would be too large, although it might not with some of these Daughtry fans.
To: RobFromGa
True, there is a bright side!
It's okay Chris, CTM's on the way!

MUCH better options open to him now. Just like I said with Mandisa, his 'phone will be ringing before breakfast tomorrow!

People started piling on because it was the popular thing to do. Taylor is in a way different league than those two, but I think some of this is still going on. Could be. It could also be that some people (see votefortheworst.com) are voting for Taylor as a joke. That is not a view that I share. Again, I don't think any of these four folks were awful, I just really dug seeing Chris and am disappointed and disinterested from here on (until next season, of course).

It was really brilliant when Live did the exact same thing a few years ago.

No chance. The Taylor/Elliott block is very strong at this point. If she takes out Elliott she not only has to deal with the Soul Patrol but also Elliott's people who are favorably inclined towards Taylor.

I enjoyed watching Kellie. My 3 year old walks around the house imitating Kellie saying "I butchered it".

Idol might sign Chris to a recording deal anyway, like they did with Bo last year. If so, I think the results would be better than in Bo's case.

I love Elliot's voice. Frankly I have been surprised that he has made it this far due to a lack of stage presence. There is such a thing as lighting up the camera. Not him. I thought he would be gone last week in lieu of Paris. I do believe I will have to pull for him now. I think he is my favorite voice wise. I have little hope for him though.

But the difference here is that her breasts are an asset that she has certainly promoted and Elliott's teeth are considered bad.

LOL! I'd like to see and hear that!

It's hard not to like them all.
I remember being so shocked when the audience booed Jasmine Trias. They wanted her gone and someone else went home.
Her entire Hawaiian island voted for her. They loved their girl.
The crowd was ugly and so was Simon.
That was a low point and I sure hope they don't boo Kat next week.
The kids don't vote, they just do their best and sometimes it's better than other times.

I just never "got" Chris. He might be a decent lead singer in a regional rock band, but no way is he a solo artist in my book. He has only one trick up his sleeve- intense and angry, that doesn't make a CD.

I think there might be a dispute about tonights vote.. It's Florida 2000 all over again--I wanted to vote for Chris, but I called Pat Buchanan instead :)

Seems like when he (Taylor) is good, he is great. However, on his off nights, I was not impressed. That's the great thing about pulling (and voting) for Elliott, he's never had an off night. I go back and watch previous performances I have recorded. Elliotts' developement as a performer has be extra-ordinary, he "ramps it up" every week.
