Yes it did. I wanted to laugh so badly because I kept thinking of the Seinfeld episode where the car had the guys b.o. smell in it and they couldn't get it out. But I didn't dare laugh because gross, I might inhale it into my mouth!! Made me wish I had a bottle of Febreeze or Lysol with me. All I could think was someone had Mexican for lunch!!

I would think that any of these 4 would already have a contract in the works. Probably do better without being tied to AI.

They are under contract already for 12 months if they make the final 10. The winner's record gets out first and then it's open season. The show has a year to decide if they want you starting in February.
The each get $10K for the final 12 then $100K plus some cut of the tour. I estimate that the folks who do the tour probably make a combined $175-200K for their trouble.

I have searched all my other sources. Don't know if this is real, a "local" tv thing that got blown out of proportion, or just a huge RUMOR.
Have not been able to get any official confirmation on the "MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT" so I am going to consider it a WILD INTERNET RUMOR until we get verification.

Did you catch the Glenn Beck TV show tonight?
It was pretty good. He needs to get more comfortable with it but it got better as it went on.
He interviewed Gregory Itzin, Logan from "24."
Speaking of "24," It's almost time. I can't post on the thread while I watch it because (unlike Idol) 24 gets my full attention!

That's not too shabby and kind of nice since they have to miss work and some have to support families.
I half expected Chris to maybe leave for a job with Fuel or something.
I figure it isn't Elliot or you'd have said something. There is also another rumor on the boards that someone is going to rip their shirt open tomorrow night.
I'm guessing that if true, it won't be Elliot. What that Kat won't do for votes! ;)

I only got to see the first 15 minutes. I just hope it will be a good deal for him. It reairs at 11:00, doesn't it?

Yeah but the 7-8 months that they do this is pure hell on them. No sleep, horrible hours, no life, isolation from friends and family. Elliott is here simply due to his girlfriend encouraging him. After 7 months of being apart save for an odd visit here and there what are their prospects? What about Chris and his marriage?
That's why Elliott's song choice of "Home" last week was so powerful. For anyone in the music business chasing a dream and leaving someone behind it tears on them. A lot of his songs have some tie in to her but it's too bad that a lot of people simply don't get it and would rather he dance around and act like a buffoon.
