I know it's a pain, but use dual authentication to log into your most critical sites like your bank. Because just having them text me a number is not secure enough? I'll look into the dual authentication.

Got a scam email this am from Chase saying learn how much fraud is out there, click here. I got an email like that this morning, too. It was definitely from Chase, so I clicked the link to learn about fraud. It has advice on reporting fraud, to the local police and to the US Consumer Protection Agency fraud department. I'll probably be making a fraud report to them.

Anyway good luck with getting this under control. Thank you very much!
I hear so much about fraud these days. My county has a website where you can request to receive notification if any papers with your address are filed. This is supposed to help with title fraud. The convenience of the computer revolution helped to revolutionize crime, as well.

Very good! In the Capital One app, it only takes a sec to lock or unlock a card. Sometimes I get an alert from a merchant “card declined” and it’s always because I forgot to unlock it.

I believe ProtonPass does have a free version, but I don't know the limitations of it.
It is very handy, and it does have web browser extensions (so you don't need to keep a spreadsheet with the PWs), and apps for Apple (iPhone/iPad), and probably for android, but not sure about that.
(I DO still keep an encrypted spreadsheet, just in case, and it is updated any time changed are made, but very rarely need to use it.)

That is a very good idea!

One night, an obvious Mafioso came in, covered with jewelry, carrying a huge wad of cash, and wearing the peculiar types of suits they wear. That wasn't a member ("made man") of the Mafia. That probably wasn't even a low-level "associate." That was probably a common "hood."
Regards,

I have cards with different limits to limit potential damages. So, if I purchase online I use a card with a very low limit.

Oh, and common criminals did not look like that. We got them at 7-11, too.
