>Unfortunately, it takes 67 senators to do that.

67 to impeach his 'honor.' However it only would take 60 (51 if filibuster nuked) to remove his court district and replace it with something different. That kind of thing happened under Jefferson. Congress, by normal votes, can also cancel DC "Home Rule," throwing out all the locally elected folks and choose whatever replacements they want. Perfectly Constitutional, actually moreso than the "Home Rule." DC only exists to support and house the federal government, NOT for its residents. If the residents don't like that, they are free to move outside the district, elect their own government there, yet commute to work in the District.

Raise your hand if you think the GOP is going to replace the DC district. Jasmine hopes to add DC and Puerto Rico as new states. I don’t think that is likely either in the near future.

With such narrow congressional majorities, no, the GOP won’t nuke DC courts. But some of them have talked about doing it. Get the idea out there and normalized until you have the perceived power to do it.

Too much greed/corruption in fedgov. I would love to clean up the DC Augean Stables but I doubt Trump can do it in the time he has left.

I agree. Trump can change the trends and build MAGA’s strength with what good he can do, but there will be plenty for JD to do post Trump.

Why not link directly to the source - The New York Post - rather than Clickbait Pundit?

(Why not link directly to the source - The New York Post - rather than Clickbait Pundit?)

Because the Gateway Pundit is the most trustworthy quintessential conservative news source that’s now been accepted as a member of the White House Press Pool.

If JD is the next POTUS, he is young enough to go from there to SCOTUS. Taft is the only one to do that so far.
