I am not assuming it was accidental. I have an open mind. If it was deliberate, and there is strong evidence, I believe the perpetrator should be criminally charged for damaging government property, same as someone spraying graffiti on a courthouse.

And if it wasn’t a mistake...?

><

You have reason to believe the contractor intentionally did bad work?

It's not good for business. If contractors think they will be publicly humiliated and disgraced every time one of their employees screws up, they will avoid doing business with him.

You have obviously never owned a real business.

I have owned dozens and can tell you that if I had allowed every negative comment from a disgruntled customer to avoid doing business it would have been a disaster.

What are you, a low life, good for shit, lawyer?

Get into the real world ... or do what you do, and talk in court to a bunch of fag bastard lawyers.

Did I ever mention that I hate ALL lawyers?

That was unwarranted.

I am a 74-year-old working engineer. I worked for Raytheon for 35 years. The company, at the time, had a policy of avoiding lawsuits whenever practical, in part to avoid a reputation for being dangerous to do business with.

I see absolutely NO business case for Trump humiliating this contractor. It makes him look thinskinned and vindictive. It’s bad politics and bad business.

There are a lot of thinskinned people who run successful businesses, I take that you claim to be one, but they, like you, are probably missing out on a lot of potential oppportunities. Put the shoe on the other foot: If you had a customer or supplier who is as much a pain in the ass as you purport to be, would you want to do business with him or her?

Almost all the people I deal with professionally and in my private transactions try to be civil and respectful.

Good manners cost nothing and pays big dividends.

I hear what you are saying and others too. When he saw the video I am sure he talked with the contractor first. If the contractor said he was not responsible even after seeing the video and would not replace it then Trump was right to shame him.

I am a retired 84 year old that worked for raytheon for a year and a half and never have I seen as corrupt group of tight assed thieves as those boston racists.

I walked away from over a hundred K check in the 70's because I wouldn't put up with the shenanigans {I would have gone to the feds but many of those thieves were dippen in the sewer}.

Spare me the high minded Raytheon garbage, most of their money comes from K-Street deals with the gummint.

How much non-military business does Raytheon do?

Never mind, if you took out the military spending Raytheon couldn't support a hot dog stand.
