uhh... No...
It can be argued we are much more tied to TSMC and it’s high end computer chips.
I wonder what a couple of bunker busters special delivery by a B2 would do to the 3 gorges dam?
China has been “preparing to invade Taiwan” since 1949
Drones, the little helicopter ones, are used on soft targets. They go about 100 MPH, have a range of about 16 to 32 miles and are easily shot down. I can go on and on about poor infantry/armor tactics in Ukraine, how it is an extension overly simplistic belief of numbers over quality, why that belief is based on myths and not reality of WWII, etc.
“Wouldn’t win” Say what? See my last post about my disgust of perception of everything of quantity and drone/human wave adjacent tactics. Not to mention there would be no large scale invasion of Mainland China, just a severe weakening of their ability to invade.
Quite a detectable
buildup must be necessary for such an operation.
They’d like to have that territory, but they’ve always had difficulty projecting their powers outside their borders.
Over 2,000 Iranian clerics including two senior officials called the shedding of Donald Trump’s blood religiously permissible, essentially endorsing his assassination, in a sharp escalation of official rhetoric in the theocracy against the US president.

I disagree- of course I was referring to the SOURCE telegram - posting this short conversation starter on FR has value. In my humble opinion
“Taiwan urges readiness”
ROFLMAO
They knew what’s coming and failed to do enough to dissuade the ccp from doing it anyway despite decades to get ready.
smh
And we are equally at fault due to what’s coming when ccp gains control of all the chip manufacturing.
What do your little girl emojis have to do with posting here, post without them, the rest of us do.
Again? Or still?
?
Except the election would have changed everything.
My point exactly
China has been threatening, or about to invade, Taiwan for 20+ years...
So... Again? Or stil?
No; tha’s not what I am saying. We could sell Taiwan munitions and arms. We could make it clear to China this will not be allowed. A few attack submarines in the region.
Frankly it destroys your credibility when you reduce the situation to chips for AI and video games. How about National Security and chips for military systems? Chips for our Financial systems and infrastructure?
Do you think it is a good idea for China to corner the market on computer chips by capturing the foundries of TMSC? China would become the most powerful country in the world and we would become a second rate country dependent upon China
