In college, that happened on the basketball court (not during a game) when a vet’s prosthetic leg went flying across the floor.

Wearing wigs is common by black girls playing volleyball. I reffed high school and some college volleyball for over 40 years. I know at least 50% of black girls were wearing wigs. Didn’t care even if it was technically against the rules.
In every sport there are a few rules that are just plain stupid.
