If Trump had a habit of sending such bawdy birthday greetings, why is this the only one? There should be hundreds of them. Trump was always preoccupied with his public image. He certainly said some things off color which he didn't expect to make news, like the Billy Bush video. He knew better than to put anything like that in writing. Trump also flirted with running for the Reform Party nomination in 2000. He ultimately decided against that, but it does appear he was on someone's radar for dirty tricks going back that far.
