Cheadle was hand picked by Jill Biden to head the SS and proceeded to fill the agency with DEI hires. Incompetence is likely the main reason why the Butler assassination attempt happened, but there are so many unanswered question about the incident that a conspiracy to take out Trump cannot be ruled out.
