I think Trump will work the best deal we are likely to get within the framework of what it is possible for him to accomplish, but it never hurts to constantly demand an accounting from those in power who have abused/broken the law.

Forcing cases into the system will only work if the circuit courts rule favorably for Trump. If the ruling is unfavorable, Trump loses as Roberts and his gal pal justices will vote to not hear the cases. They won’t touch such cases with a 10 foot pole.
