“center-left” hogwash. He is a rabid socialist leftist,as is Politico and its spawn Axios.

In his speech, Starmer will promise to hit six numerical milestones by the next election covering health care, house construction, education, policing, net zero and the economy. So did Biden - he had "experts" and numbers galore all intended to gaslight the public who were looking at the price of groceries that they were, in fact, too uninformed to realize how well off they were. The result speaks for itself.

"How Keir Starmer hopes to avoid becoming Britain's Biden"
By becoming Italy's Draghi or the Netherlands's Rutte after a collapsed government. A boot upward by EU elites and away from having to stand a next election by the hoi polloi. Barnier, anyone?

Sure has been a lot of leaders go down the drain over their support of Ukraine.

"to the more tangible target of making voters feel better off" not ACTUALLY better of as in: "to the more tangible target of making voters better off"

Hell of a five months. Seems like he’s been there a lot longer.

Only from Politico’s perspective could Keir Starmer be considered center left. The guy is quite literally not only out of hailing distance of the center but over the horizon from it. He is closer to Pol Pot than say squishy left Boris Johnson. He is also incompetent.

Then stop acting like Adolf’s brother.

"In doing so, his administration has one eye on the fate of the U.S. president, who could boast
FAKE enviable GDP figures — but still faced the wrath of voters, pinched by high inflation
AND THE GOVERNMENT BOOT ON THEIR NECKS, who instead backed the return of Donald Trump."
Fixed it

I was going to post the same quote. This is exactly what the Democrats tried: just change the perception???? I’ll predict right now - fail. You can only fool some of the people some of the time.

He better hope he doesn’t suffer a fate similar to that of Brian Thompson.

He ought to be more concerned with becoming France’s Macron.

I think Elizabeth Truss would be a more accurate comparison.
E Truss was prime minister of England for just a few months before being wisked out in No Confidence election.
It was unbelievable how quickly she was spat out by the voters. I still don’t know what she did to enrage the public that any other average politician would do
