I’m not sure how to reply to everyone on the thread but thanks to all.

The bathroom window is convenient — some of the bedroom windows are too wide for the wings. We keep the bathroom door open when no one is using it.

Sorry for coming in late. Putting a refrigerator on a GFCI circuit is not a good idea if you ever leave your home overnight, as the compressors in refrigerators will randomly trip GFCIs - the trips may be weeks or months apart, but they do trip, likely due to whacky currents related to the compressor motor.

Likewise, an air conditioners use the same type of compressors, and thus will randomly trip GFCIs. If the trips are too much to deal with, one option is to simply get rid of the GFCI (and replace the hardware with non-GFCI hardware), either in the receptacle, the upstream receptacle, or at the circuit breaker panel (wherever the GFCI is located). Obviously make sure that upstream power is off before doing that job!
